In May and June last year, Joola launched two thunderbolts in succession. One is “Rhyzen CMD” with high-density sponge: it has the same metallic sound as the classic high-density F1 set, but the sponge is hardened, and at the same time, the feeling of wrapping the ball is not bad.
The other is “Rhyzen ZGR”, which was launched at the same time as Dynasty ZGR. It is a combination of “sticky glue surface + cake sponge”. In terms of friction and arc manufacturing ability, cake sponges have always performed very well; in order to further enhance the sense of speed, the sponge hardness of Rhyzen ZGR has been increased to hard+.
A year later, we’ll be reviewing the new Rhyzen : Ice and Fire.Rhyzen Ice (red rubber surface) and Rhyzen Fire (blue rubber surface) seem to be high-density sponges. Thunder series has always been priced below 200 yuan, mainly in the mid-end market.
Compare Rhyzen CMD
In terms of hardness, Rhyzen CMD is 45°. Ice is 40-42° and fire is 45-47°. (Why is there a hardness category? Because the official hardness has not yet been provided.)
Therefore, Rhyzen Ice must be quite soft, similar to X-PLODE SENSITIVE. Fire is at least not lower than the hardness of CMD. From here, we can roughly estimate: ice, basically can only play backhand; fire, both positive and negative.

Judging from the feel of hitting the ball, the Rhyzen CMD hits the ball with a clear and crisp sound, and the speed performance is faster. Neither ice nor fire is as fast as CMD. However, the fire’s wrapping feeling is still very good, and the support feels better; so it is more comfortable to put on the forehand than the CMD, which is a bit transparent in the forehand.

Donic ‘s two high-mead sets will be faster on defense and flicking, but the ball is a little missed. In this regard, both ice and fire are better, and it will not be easy to rise.
Similarly, let go of the forehand, the support of Rhyzen fire is obviously stronger than that of F1, and there is no problem in pulling it violently. Can be used as positive glove glue. Thunder’s entire series of sponge-wrapped balls are still relatively comfortable.
The clarity of the small force pilling, I think Ice and Fire and F1, F2 are half a pound. Leveraging the speed, F1, F2 and Rhyzen CMD will be faster than Ice and Fire. Ice and fire have average speeds under small and medium power. But after making a big effort, the fire’s sense of power and speed is still immediately improved, and the upper limit is not bad.

In terms of ball rolling and split length, these two are relatively stable and linear. There are numbers, it is not easy to take high.
In terms of rotation, both of them are high-density sponge + astringent rubber surface, but the ball wrapping feeling of the sponge is not bad. Also makes a nice spin. Personally, when the fire is pulled high, the rotation value is still quite high. But the speed of pulling and punching is not as good as that of CMD . If you want to pull faster, choose CMD ; if you want to be more solid, choose Fire.
In contrast, ice may have fewer audiences because of its low hardness. It is more suitable for golfers who are accustomed to backhand soft glue and mainly focus on sticking defense. Because if it is too soft, it will actually drop the ball a bit when backhanding. Player with low skill level can consider ice. Above the medium level, fire is recommended.
On the whole, fire is suitable for both pulling and fighting, both positive and negative. It looks like it will have a wider acceptance and market than ice. The rubber surface will not look as crisp as the Rhyzen CMD.
